Meet Jacob Lundberg - AI/ML Lead at Improvin'
Say hello to Jacke, our AI/ML Lead at Improvin'. He's a dedicated problem-solver and devoted foodie, guaranteed to bring the most interesting lunch boxes to the office.
Hi Jacke! What’s most exciting about your role?
Definitely working with a variety of technical challenges. My responsibilities are broad. Being a small team, we're often figuring things out ourselves. It's great not to be weighed down by heavy processes or hierarchies.
The thrill of solving complex problems fuels me. And it's not just about cracking codes; I genuinely believe my work is helping to create a better world.
Granted, what we work with isn’t easy, and one person can only do so much. It’s still rewarding to work for a company with people who share your agenda.
My extended family has a lot of farmers, and that's probably one reason why I was drawn to this sector. I've learned so much since I started at Improvin'; often of unexpected topics, which has been exciting, too.
What’s your favorite Improvin’ ritual?
The daily planks we do at the office are a fun one. Someone will always push for it, and not everyone wants to at first, but by the end, we all feel pumped and ready to finish our work for the day.
You’re known as the office foodie. Tell us more!
Me and my girlfriend share a passion for good vegetarian food. We channel this passion into our blog and Instagram account, both called Vegoresan.
It all started when my girlfriend mentioned that we should store our best vegan and vegetarian recipes somewhere so we could always come back to them.
It's nice to think that I can do good in the world; both at work and in my personal life. Knowing that someone might try a new veggie recipe because of our web or Instagram feels awesome.
What's your favorite recipe?
We’re perfecting a lasagne with black beluga lentils. The last one we made was yummy. It's pretty easy to make, and the flavor is rich.
3 things that excite you right now?
🤖 I'm really excited about ChatGPT. It has so much potential that is still unexplored. And I'm actually the most curious about the next level; what will happen during the next 1-2 years.
🥾 We have a hiking trip planned for this summer: Kungsleden, south of Kebnekaise. I’m really looking forward to it.
☀️ This is definitely my favorite time of the year. There are so many fun things to look forward to, everything's becoming green, it's getting warmer, and people seem happier.
